These classic capelets with 3 different collar options can easily be worn as a summer cover up or can be interlined for winter warmth. Simple to sew and easy to fit, these vintage inspired garments act as a extra layer without adding bulk. The cape with stand up collar can be finished to be reversible.

Suitable Fabrics
For the reversible cape on front and back photos we used cotton (Rowan Fabric— Joel Dewberry and Moda Fabrics— Eclectic). Wool and cotton twill were used for other front cover samples. Corduroy, tweed and linen would work as well.
